Hotels and resorts
A hotel digital twin that finds the fault before the guest does.
Synopton builds a live 3D twin of your hotel and connects it to the BMS, the helpdesk, guest reviews and the FM contract. Every complaint, work order and certificate lands on the asset behind it, with a price attached.

Why hotels lose money in plain sight
Hotels, branded residences and resorts run under an FM contract.
Guests notice the warm room, the closed lift and the dripping ceiling before the FM team does.
The information to prevent it usually exists. It is spread across the building management system, the helpdesk, the property management system and the review sites, and nobody joins it up in time. The same fault gets logged three times and fixed once, late, while the cost of the delay never appears on any report.
What the hotel twin watches
Every signal is tied to a room, a floor or a piece of plant.
The twin watches
- Comfort-band SLA by floor and room
- Guest reviews routed to the asset behind them
- Energy waste by plant item, ranked by payback
- Lift, fire, pool and kitchen certificates
- The FM contract: credits, penalties and renewal
Decisions it drives
- Repair, replace or claim the warranty
- Which job goes first when two lines clash
- What the FM contract is really costing
- What the handover left out
How it works in a hotel
Read-only connections, a 3D model and a record of every decision.
- Connect. Read-only links to the BMS, CMMS and helpdesk, the PMS and guest reviews, energy metering, CCTV and the FM contract itself.
- Model. A 3D twin built from floor plans and equipment lists, or loaded from your BIM, with rooms, plant and cameras placed where they really are.
- Label. Every figure carries a provenance chip (measured, modelled, published, assumed or forecast) and a Why? panel that shows its inputs.
- Ask. Plain questions such as “why is floor 22 outside the comfort band?” come back with answers that cite the twin’s own data.
- Decide. Accepting a recommendation drafts a decision record with an owner and a deadline, and the twin then tracks the measured result.

Questions buyers ask
Do we need a BIM model of the hotel?
No. We can build the 3D twin from layouts, drawings and an equipment list. If you have BIM, IFC or GLB models, we load them.
Does Synopton change settings in our BMS?
No. Connectors are read-only. Accepting a recommendation drafts a decision record for people to agree; nothing is written back to building systems.
Can it work with our FM contractor?
Yes. The FM contract is one of the sources: credits, penalties and renewal terms sit next to the assets they cover, so you can see what the contract is really costing.
How soon is the twin useful?
The twin is usable from week six of a 90-day pilot, and your team runs real decisions through it in weeks seven to twelve.

The same platform runs twins of other assets that can’t stop.
