Construction
A construction digital twin that shows planned against built.
Synopton puts the programme, the BIM model and the site cameras in one live twin, so the project team sees where the job is really slipping, and the operator receives a working twin at handover.

Three versions of the same site
Towers and complex buildings, from frame to handover.
The programme says level 18, the site says level 16, and the BIM model says something else again.
Progress lives in the programme, the model, the delivery log and the photos on someone’s phone. By the time the gap shows up in a report, the delay has already cost money. The twin keeps all three views in one place and shows where they disagree.
What the site twin watches
Progress, logistics and safety on one model.
The twin watches
- Planned against built, from site cameras and the BIM model
- Crane and hoist utilisation
- Exclusion zones and PPE on every camera
- Deliveries against the programme
- Snags and commissioning certificates
Decisions it drives
- Where the programme is really slipping, and why
- Which deliveries to pull forward or hold
- What is safe to hand over, and what is not
Site cameras as safety sensors
Detections a safety manager can act on.
PPE, exclusion-zone and pose detectors run on the cameras already on site. Each detection is held as evidence, with the camera, the time, the confidence and a compliant worker in the same frame for contrast.
- Hard hat, harness and zone entry detection
- Camera mounts shown in the 3D twin
- Person of record revealed only on a logged request
- Permits and certificates checked against each detection
From site twin to building twin
The FM team inherits a working model on day one.
Synopton connects read-only to the programme (P6 or MS Project), BIM and IFC models, site cameras, delivery logs and commissioning records. At handover, the same twin becomes the operating model of the building, so the facilities team starts with assets, certificates and snags already in place. See how that continues in an office building twin or a hotel twin.
ON REQUESTConstruction twins are scoped per project. A tower under construction, Marina Tower site, runs on demo data in the live console.
Questions buyers ask
Do we need new cameras on site?
Usually not. The detectors run on existing site cameras, and their mounts are placed in the 3D twin.
Which BIM formats do you load?
IFC and GLB models load directly. Without BIM, we build the twin from drawings and an equipment list.
Who can see who was in a detection?
The person of record is revealed only on a logged request. Every answer and decision in the twin is logged.
How is a construction twin priced?
Construction twins are scoped per project after a 30-minute call. The price depends on the data sources and the number of cameras.
Other industries
The same platform runs twins of other assets that can’t stop.
